Joel Gleason is senior vice president of for Cognizant’s Provider market segment. He has overall P&L responsibility for nearly half a billion in provider assets and revenue. In addition Gleason is tasked for designing, leading, and executing the go-to-market strategy for current Product portfolio as well as alignment of new emerging digital offerings and transforming the way healthcare is delivered across the U.S.
Gleason has more than 28 years of healthcare experience including a variety of both clinical and financial solutions as well as supporting services. Gleason previously served as senior vice president at Optum and as vice president at Cerner Corporation. He has experience and broad industry knowledge with respect to health systems’ evolving health plan strategies.
Gleason is an alumnus of Hamilton College, where he received a BA in psychology.
