As part of the Ascension Information Services (AIS) Strategic Planning and Innovation team, Kathy has responsibility for Experience Product Portfolio Planning. Working with Ascension clinical and business stakeholders and AIS leadership, this includes identifying and prioritizing the set of Experience related products required to meet the needs of customers looking across multiple channels (e.g. web, mobile, desktop). Kathy participates in multi-disciplinary business strategy teams, connecting the business strategy to the product strategy, with a focus on optimizing the portfolio of product investments over time. She has been involved with healthcare information technology in a variety of leadership roles for close to 20 years, with prior technology experience in major retail and banking industries.
Ascension Health, the largest nonprofit health system in the United States, recently developed a mHealth prototype tool for CHF patients, which includes Bluetooth devices for weight and blood pressure management.
In this session, Ascension will share best best practices and lessons learned during development and testing.
