2:50pm - 3:20pm

Advocate Health Care is the largest health network in Illinois and one of the largest ACOs in the country.

From this vantage point, Vice President Tina Esposito, who oversees system measurement and analytics, knows well that the ability to bend the cost curve will occur only if the right resources are deployed to areas where most appropriate.

In this session, she’ll discuss a different approach to strategic resource allocation grounded in data and advanced analytics: Moving beyond a focus on the most expensive, complex patients at the top of the population pyramid to a broader focus that includes identifying and targeting patients before they reach the top of the pyramid.
